Rafiq and his team in WVA has provided financial management training, seminars, talks and workshops to Government Linked Companies, Audit Firms, Private Universities and Government Agencies. The team also came up with the first of its kind Financial Wellness Programmes targeted at providing both the theoretical and practical aspect of Financial Management to its participants.

Rafiq began his career as a management consultant where he advised clients in the areas of human resource management and strategic planning. After that, he furthered his career working as a global consultant in human resource management in the Middle East. He was then invited to be part of the pioneering team that helped setup Talent Corporation Malaysia Bhd (TalentCorp), which included a stint as the Head of the Shared Services Division for 3 years.

He decided to make a career change to Financial Services in early 2014 due to his passion in helping individuals to improve their personal financial situations.
